Microsoft launches new AI upgrades to Windows 11, boosting Copilot

Microsoft has launched Copilot Vision for Windows 10 and 11 users in the U.S., introducing a new AI feature that provides real-time, context-aware assistance across applications. Accessible via the Copilot app's glasses icon, users can share specific apps or browser windows with Copilot, enabling it to offer instant feedback, answer questions, and guide users through tasks. The standout 'Highlights' feature visually indicates where to click and what steps to take, making it particularly helpful for tasks like photo editing or navigating unfamiliar software. Copilot Vision supports sharing up to two apps simultaneously, allowing for more complex, cross-app assistance. This feature is fully opt-in, ensuring users maintain control over their data and privacy. Currently available only in the U.S., Microsoft plans to expand Copilot Vision to other non-European countries in the near future.
