Antim Panghal wins bronze, opens India’s tally at Worlds

Antim Panghal won a bronze medal in the women’s 53 kg freestyle category at the World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb, defeating Sweden’s Emma Jonna Denise Malmgren 9-1. This is her second consecutive Worlds bronze and India’s first and only freestyle medal in this edition, continuing the country’s streak of winning at least one medal at the Worlds every year since 2018.
