Spotlight on Muzammil Ibrahim: Model-Hero Who Once Dated Deepika Padukone

Srinagar-born Muzammil Ibrahim, 38, is trending again after admitting he dated Deepika Padukone for two years when she first moved to Mumbai. The former Gladrags Manhunt winner stormed the fashion scene in 2003, front-rowing music videos like Lucky Ali’s “Kabhi Aisa Lagta Hai” and Rakhi Sawant’s “Pardesia.” He pivoted to films with Pooja Bhatt’s 2007 thriller Dhokha, later appearing in rom-com Will You Marry Me? and the espionage series Special Ops.

Beyond screen credits, Ibrahim holds two national bravery awards—first at age six for rescuing a drowning child and again in 2008 after saving a tourist in Goa.
