Alia Bhatt’s Ex-Assistant Arrested for ₹76 Lakh Fraud

Alia Bhatt’s former personal assistant, Archana Sadanand, has been arrested for allegedly defrauding the actress of over ₹76 lakh. According to reports, Sadanand misused her position to siphon off the funds under the pretext of managing Alia’s professional commitments.

The fraud reportedly came to light during an internal audit, prompting Alia’s team to file a complaint with the Mumbai Police. Sadanand allegedly diverted the money through manipulated invoices and falsified transactions, claiming expenses related to work activities.

The police initiated an investigation and arrested Sadanand after gathering substantial evidence. She has been charged with criminal breach of trust and cheating. Further inquiries are ongoing to determine if more individuals were involved.
