Karan Johar and his love for drama? We know it all too well. So here’s what happened on a recent episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8—he dropped a bomb so random that it left Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif not just speechless, but straight-up wide-eyed. But then again, this is Karan Johar we’re talking about. If anyone’s going to spill piping hot tea on national TV, it’s him.

While the three were chatting and giggling their way through the episode, KJo just casually threw in, “You know he’s always been in love with you, right?” aimed right at Anushka. And “he,” in this case, was Arjun Kapoor. The vibe instantly shifted from coffee to chaos.

Katrina’s face? Utter shock. Anushka? It took her a moment to even process what just happened. When she did, she practically yelled, “Are you crazy? You just say anything on your show!” A mix of disbelief and secondhand embarrassment, but classic Anushka sass.

But nope—Karan didn’t stop there. He went full dramatic and insisted Arjun had confessed this multiple times, even saying it like a headline: “Anushka Sharma—he is in love with.” At this point, you could feel the awkwardness through the screen.

Anushka, still reeling, asked him not to say such things on national television and firmly denied ever hearing anything of the sort. And when Katrina cheekily asked if there was some hidden scoop between her and Arjun, Anushka shut it down immediately with a “Most definitely not!”

Work-wise, Arjun was last seen doing his action thing in Singham Again, while Anushka is enjoying a chill phase post-Qala, spending time with hubby Virat Kohli and their kids in London.
