Ajay Devgn-Dubbed Karate Kid: Legends Opens Strong at ₹1.6 Crore

The Hindi-dubbed version of Karate Kid: Legends, featuring voiceovers by Ajay Devgn and his son Yug, opened with a respectable ₹1.6 crore at the Indian box office on May 30. Both the Hindi and English versions contributed ₹65 lakh each, while Tamil and Telugu versions added ₹15 lakh apiece.

The film stars Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, and Ben Wang, with Devgn voicing Chan's character and Yug making his dubbing debut as Wang. The combination of franchise nostalgia, Chan's enduring popularity, and the Devgn duo's involvement has sparked interest among audiences.

With no major Bollywood releases currently competing, Karate Kid: Legends has the potential to maintain steady box office performance, bolstered by positive word-of-mouth and its family-friendly appeal.
